27 weeks

I don't know if i should appreciate or be worried about what a fastidiously clean toddler Hank is! He has never like to have dirty hands (truly a child after my own heart!), and now insists on bathing a couple times a day. It's more than enough trouble holding him off til his evening bath, I can't wait for warmer weather so we can fill the pool up outside again and let him have at his water play! Packing is coming along, though I know by this weekend we are going to end of with boxes and boxes of odds and ends that are such a pain to unpack. I wish we had more time to sift through and clean out, guess we will do that after! Baby is getting bigger and bigger, moving more and more. I spent 20 minutes just looking at how chubby the arms and legs are getting on the ultrasound machine. Now you can see the baby sucking, sticking its tongue out, and making faces. Amazing that babies born at this stage do survive. The nurse in me makes milestones at 25 and 28 weeks, taking consolation that babies born that early make it, but also fully planning on getting to 40 weeks! I am in intense nesting mode, but can do nothing about it til we move. I think that is one of the reasons I am so eager to just get it over with. I want to settle Hank into a big boy bed and set up the crib, wash the baby clothes, etc...
Well, this week is half over, and next week will fly by, so I guess it will happen soon enough!

26 weeks and counting

I am really overwhelmed at how fast this pregnancy is flying by. I feel like we still haven't fully absorbed the fact that we are having another baby, and May is just around the corner! Here are the new pictures, the baby is sitting breach now, a relief for my pelvis, but giving me a lot more nausea and heart burn. i am amazed how flexible little ones are as the baby had its feet all the way up to its nose most the ultrasound. we are getting ready to move a the end of this month, i am looking forward to getting settled again and getting baby stuff ready! Hank is growing in leaps and bounds and seems to be learning so many new things every day! i love watching him grow. now to get some sleep!

Hanks Second Birthday Party

We had so much fun celebrating Hank's 2nd birthday with all our friends. It was fun to have 5 other little ones running around playing with all the toys. Sorry it has taken so long to get photos up, its been a busy kind of month around here and only promises to get busier as we prepare to move and try to settle in before this new little one is born!
